A friend has a new Marauder He said it doesn't have the screw hole in it to install a bipod. Is the only option to drill and install with a screw? thanks

Has anyone tried the bipods that hook to the sling swivel? One guy on here said his works good Seems like that would be the ticket?

I use the Harris bipods that hook to the swivel on a couple of my guns and they werq fine. Very easy install as well. Or, you can install a piece of picatinny rail with a couple of screws to the forearm too if that is what one chooses to do.

I also have a Harris style on mine. Works great. Or, you can use a picatinny rail that attaches to the sling swivel, then attach a picatinny bipod.

The slung stud mount type may leave marks and pressed indentations on the stock if tightened too much so might want to use something to cushion like an additional gasket such as thick foam padding that squashes or a cut up coaster.

That's what I use on my synthetic Marauder stock. It works good, but there is some flex with the stock. Not enough to cause issues though, at least not for me.
