Marauder Pistol Bottle Conversion Question

I am going to build a Prod bottle conversion gun. The drop down adapter that I have screws into the tube of the gun where the air fill port is.

The question is? Will any of the Crosman pistol main tubes work with the Marauder because I want the shortest tube possible to keep over all length of gun down.

I don’t want to cut up my present tube just in case I want to go back to original configuration.

I was thinking 2240 might work but not sure. Any help would be appreciated. MM

As it comes from Crosman, the 2240 tube will not be compatible with the P'rod top end (Breech).

It would require boring the four 4/40 P'rod breech holes, and the different valve anchor screw locations.

The shortest tube for your app from Crosman would be a 1701 tube. If you want shorter you would need to cut it to length, bore it, and thread it 13/16 x 28.

Or you could just buy the length tube you want from Don Cothran.

You could always buy another P-Rod tube and cut it to your desired length, but you will have to get threads cut for your screw in adapter, or use an adapter that seals to the tube and is pinned, no threads required, but that is another can of worms lol ...

Inquire with Roy at Mountain Air. He can fix you up with whatever tube you need at whatever length you need and he can machine threads.
