Crosman Marauder Semi Auto

I recently got a Marauder Semi Auto and every time I shoot it a pretty large puff of air comes out from around the magazine. I'm just wondering if this is normal?

Probably using blowoff air to index mag to next round? Not sure but many semi autos use this method

Breech oring could be missing or could be the air cycling the bolt back

I heard back from Rich Dudek (Airgun Revisions) and he said this is normal.
