marauder wood walker pistol

Pick the right pellet, set the trigger up well, and practice.

Some like a suppressor, some don't- I have two and they are like paternal twins, one takes after mom and the other... takes after the mailman.

You can put a reg in it, but really just a good tune for either power or shot count and knowing the right fill pressure is all you need. Everything else is just incremental. It has good bones and rewards the correct pellet selection.

Although I have a Prod with aftermarket barrel and moderator (+$180) and scope (+$150)... I suggest you look at the Kral NP03. It has your choice of caliber ,.177, .22 or .25. It also has 3x air capacity and is $399 instead of $480 base price and it has 14, 12 or 10 shot mags instead of 8 shots. The carbine stock is light years ahead of the P-rod joke of a stock. The P-rod red dot scope is another bad joke if you shoot past 15 yard. I wish I could have started with the NP03, three years ago.

Actually glad you made this post. I was going to suggest the very same thing.

I have had a P-rod pistol since Christmas...got it on sell for like $280...got a Crosman 1720 on sell at the same time...I love that pistol.

Anyhow I just shot the P-rod yesterday after converting to left hand bolt...glad I got it!...So much you can do with it for $$$$$as much as you want to spend...or leave as is....the 1720 is waaaaay better, cost more $$$$ and single shot...

I am a pistol freak ,now I have to look at the other PCP mentioned above..What is great is we pistol guys are getting more choices....

For many years the Crosman 2240platform was the go to...there are Many hop-ups for it....

Bottom line is the Woods Walker can be what you want it to be....just remember a rifle is a rifle and a pistol is a pistol,I say that because I see a lot of pistols that have become as long as a rifle...myself I will be making my P-rod into a small carbine.....Williams.
