Events March 1 & 2 TEXtreme Field Target Match(es) Announcement

Greetings Friends,

Per our 2025 season schedule, next weekends TEXtreme matches will be Extreme Rifle Field Target on Saturday, March 1, and Extreme Pistol Field Target on Sunday, March 2. Both matches will be sixty shots, both starting within about ten minutes after conclusion of the 11 AM shooters meetings.

Next weekends prize list will award $1,000 in Airgun Of Arizona gift certificates, distributed among the top three Rifle match podium placers, and top two Pistol match shooters; approximately a 33.33333301% increase over last seasons March TEXtreme Field Target weekend. Prize distribution in this Rifle competition will be $350/$200/$100.🤑🤑🤑 The Pistol Match Winner will pocket a $250 AoA gift certificate, and the Second Place pistolero will win a $100 certificate.🤑🤑

No lunches will be served. However snacks and cold beverages will be provided both days, free of charge.

The practice range will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9 till 11 AM for sight-in and practice. Depending on how early the Saturday Rifle match concludes and the course is subsequently converted to Pistol configuration, the practice range might be open again from late afternoon till sunset. However, no promises.

There will likely be loosely-organized group dinners Saturday and Sunday after dark. Dutch treat!

For the sake of our primary sponsor’s interest (Airguns Of Arizona), the Match Director reserves the right to reduce prize-list dollar amounts in either or both March matches in the event of foul weather or poor turn-out. Such reductions would then be added to the June 2025 TEXtreme State and Grand Prix Championships, the September and/or December TEXtreme Field Target weekends.

Stay tuned for other posts and emails (if you’re on the TEXtreme list) to follow, detailing not only those particular competitions, but also OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION. Reading and/or printing such announcements can spare the disfortune of calling me for answers to questions; MOST of which cannot be answered with a simple response. Be forewarned in such cases I default to the most antiquated but efficient form of communication in Human history, conversation. Sincerest apologies to those having developed allergies to conversing; however I have developed a progressing allergy to the least efficient form of Human communication since smoke signals, keyboarding. 🥵

See Y’all Soon,

As promised above, Friends Of TEXtreme,

I never wanted to make a business of TEXtreme Airgun Sports, but incorporating TEXtreme became almost necessary (early on). One of the primary reasons for forming a Limited Liability Corporation was not only protecting our shooters and the venue from liability, but sponsors as well. One of the most daunting recurring annual expenses is insurance.

Unfortunately the premiums for our 2025 season increased to almost 2.5 times what they were in 2024. So although I have tried to keep TEXtreme match fees as reasonable as possible considering the expenses, time and effort involved in hosting monthly competitions, unfortunately our match fees must increase.

In order to minimize losses in 2025, TEXtreme match fees for all our matches other than the June 6-8 2025 TEXtreme Grand Prix and State Championships weekend now increase by $5 per scorecard. Match fee increase amounts for that weekend are yet to be decided, largely pending confirmation of promised scope company sponsorship. I will announce match fees for the June 6-8 2025 TEXtreme Grand Prix and State Championships weekend soon as possible.

Thank You,
Ron & Maggyy.

Fresh on the heels of the match announcement above, followed closely by the 2025 match fees increase announcement (also above), it's occurred to me I neglected to mention the freshly-inflated match fees for this-coming weekend🥴; probably to the surprise of on-one that's witnessed my creeping dementia'at work'. However, and only to to dispel the common knowledge... correction, common conception I am a shameless crook, shyster, scammer and common thief, I must now divulge said match fees in order to prove I am not all THAT common.🤨

True to my word above, the Rifle Match entry fee increases to $40, the Pistol Match fee increases to $30, and the Full Tournament fee increases to $60. Key word- increases. However those inflated fees are the best bargain you've seen in the last minute or two! HOW SO, you ask?

Those inflated match fees are only a 20% increase; barely outpacing inflation. A BARGAIN, you say?🤬Yes... absolutely!

Considering the prize list increased in value approximately 33.33333301% in the same time-frame... THAT'S A BARGAIN!

Trust me. :ROFLMAO:

And believe me🤥, a shameless crook, shyster, scammer and COMMON thief,
I'm not.

BTW, FYI, FWIW, and in no way related, I have an appointment with my Ferrari sales-girl Monday. ;)😁

Don't tell Trixie, but I intend to employ my superhuman powers of manly-man charm to beat her down (mercilessly); and fully expect to get my new ride for only $3,999,999.99...

And a Quarter-Pounder (without cheese).

Happy Motoring Y'all,
Ron & Maggyy
