Marmot Militia hammer forged barrel

I just installed a Marmot Militia hammer forged barrel on my back to stock .22 cal Benjamin Marauder gen 2. Worth every penny. The first pic is with the factory barrel shooting H&N Barracudas 21 grain pellets at 50 yards. The second pic is with the new barrel shooting JSB 18 grain pellets at 50 yards. Yeah, I think I'll stick with the new barrel. http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag155/helimech81/Mobile%20Uploads/A44DD3A6-021A-4666-9CB2-9D23DCA55471_zpsvofyb1hc.jpg.

I've tested the factory barrel with numerous pellets and the only pellets it likes are the H&N barracuda 21 grain and the Crosman premiers. The barracudas shoot better at longer distances. At the time of the post, I had less than 100 shots through the new barrel and I only shot the 18 grain JSB's because I have a ton of them, I was trying to break the barrel in, and the barrel was designed to shoot them. With that accuracy, I wasn't too concerned with trying another pellet. I shot more groups that day, and I did not get a single group over a half inch at 50 yards. I even shot a full mag and still was under a half inch.

The cost of the hammer forged barrel was a little over $200. Well worth the money. I had a very minor issue with my barrel and Jim was on the spot with advise on how to fix the problem. I've never had such great customer service in my life. Bottom line, this is the best thing you can buy for your marauder with the best place to buy it from.
