I had a slug get jammed and cleared the Jam . On my Hatsan piledriver .457 when filling it with air it leaks like crazy . Has anyone experience this ? What seal or prong did. Rupture ?

@Algier Where is does the air feel or sound like it’s leaking from? What’s the reservoir pressure gauge reading on your gun before trying to fill it with more air?

i feel air leaking around The loading port of the gun ? The pressure is at 0 bar

how are you trying to fill it ? compressor, hand pump or bottle/tank ?
if completely empty......
to seat the valve/poppet, you must "shock charge" it with a blast of air from a 4500 psi tank.

the piledriver is a very simple gun, easy to disassemble and troubleshoot.
i'm working on 4 years with my .457 and its been an awesome hunting machine.
i have not had any problems from mine.

sounds like valve/poppet is stuck or broke, could be a seal or o-ring too..... it needs to be looked at.

Make sure you post what you find fixes the problem so if others have a similar problem they can try the same thing.

I too am thinking that the problem is the poppet/valve seat and that maybe some shaved leaf is keeping the poppet from sealing to the valve seat.

It’s under warranty . I’ll send it back to the place I bought it from . I’ll post when I find out the issue

I'm thinking of getting the Hatsan Piledriver in 50 cal and now looking at the comments to see how this powerhouse is in quality. Did you ever find out what was causing the air leak? If so it be nice to read what the issue was. Thanks in advance and very much appreciated.
