buy 3 get one free 50 divided by 3 = 16 free @ PA
50 minus 16 = 34 @$20 = $680 for 50 tins
$680 divided by 50 = 13.60 per tin
$680 qualifies for free shipping
thats $680 +tax

My process is:
You want [using easy numbers] 40 tins.
Only have to pay for 30[with PA b3g1]
So 30 ×20 is 600
So you can take and use multiples of 3 or 30 for easy reference.
*I've bought too many projectiles from PA if you can't tell

Spending that amount of money, why not order directly from the manufacturer with contracted conditions? Specifically, request a single die run batch for consistency. That way the projectiles are really uniform from tin to tin, for year to come.

Manufacturers generally only sell wholesale, which requires a business license, or their retail price is higher than their distributors to be none competitive.

Also, check Utah Air - I think you get 1 free after buying 4 tins + they don't charge tax. For some purchases, they've been cheaper than PA.
However, shipping will apply ... I live close, so not much for me.

I'd at least look into it ......

With PA you will pay at the very least, tax. Free shipping threshold is $150?
Then if you order any other pellets that are less than the highest priced tins, those are the freebies, NOT the high cost tins. So, 25% may not be correct in all orders.

I just did the math on buying 50 tins of .25 JSB MK 2's from the Pellet Shop vs PAir

The Pellet Shop- 50 tins w/free shipping, no tax - 974.50
PAir- 50 tins w/free shipping + tax ----------------999.95

PAir is even higher for me with the free tins, plus they charge taxes and their price per tin is a lot higher than The Pellet Shop

Not sure about PA but I'm pretty sure Utah Airguns limits you to 10 tins per order - so 8@$20=$160/10=$16. Plus shipping, no tax. And they sometimes have a no charge shipping day special.

Happy to see every one doing their homework , by ordering a full case i got the same pellets in all 50 tins , maybe good and maybe not ?
Ordering a case it was unopened from the H&N factory .

P.S. the price i got was for H&N ftt .177 , i should have included that info , sorry

I had put a small spreadsheet together last year for a "Per Pellet" cost.
DO NOT ENTER ANY INFORMATION INTO THE ROSE COLORED CELLS, THERE ARE FORMULAS WITHIN!
Otherwise, after entering the other cell information, it will kick out a per pellet cost. There are TABS at the bottom for various calibers to .30. You will need to enter your local tax to the top of the sheet in order to add them per vendor that charges tax. If the cells are a light grey color, that vendor charges tax, if light green, NO TAX is included in the formulas.
