Very nice...congratulations! Very beautiful scope and I am sure the glass is CLEAR! Looking forward to your assessment on it.
Although it is a rainy weekend here, I set up the bench and tried some basic distance ranging.
I’m not completely sure yet, but 10-60 yards will probably spread 90-110 degrees on a large wheel. the markings on the parallax knob are pretty much spot on.
as far as scopes go, this is a good looking optic. But looks mean nothing if it doesn’t perform-this is a Japansee made optic. 👀
price point of $1400 to $1600 dollars depending on seller

Maven is a manufacturer direct to consumer. An other manufacturer direct company to consumer is Tract Optics, that uses Schott glass as opposed to the Japanese glass used in Maven Optics. Any one here have compared the two brands?
You got me thinking about Tract Optics because of the German? Schott glass.

Because my particular airgun interests are close in or 10-55 yards like Field Target, I primarily study up on scopes that can focus down to 10 yards.
Tract Optics currently only has 2 models that do this: https://tractoptics.com/toric-uhd-3...mrad-eagleman-long-range-hunting-rifle-scope/ and finding the right reticle and reticle thickness at 16X magnification restriction is a big part of the game, as holdovers are the primary aiming method in use during HFT.
Price point on the Above Tract Optic is right around $994.00 ($924.00 on amazon) which is $400 cheaper than the Maven i am waiting to put through it's paces to see if earns a field target worthy badge.
Athlon has several HFT worthy models that are 1/2 the price of the Maven.
While the Athlon scopes are good and i have several, they don't spread the parallax numbers out quite as well on a big ranging wheel as say a Sightron S3 or a Nightforce ATACR. It is interesting to see how well different scopes parallax features work, one big surprise was the Element Titan 3-18x50 in 34mm tube which spread the numbers out over 270 degrees on a 6" wheel; but wasn't as clear or repeatable as say the Sightron or Nightforce optics.
