Tuning maverick /impact MK2 - regulators

HI I would like to know if the impact MK2 and the Maverick regulators are the same . I noticed some places saying for maverick a gen 3 is on preorder , but on Huma website site they make a regulator for the MK2 impact Gen3 which is hi pressure , and for maverick it says they have a gen1 and a gen2 .



SO can they be interchanged they look almost identical except for shape of piston , but length and diameter looks the same , can anyone let me know for sure , reason is I got both guns from here and I making a list to stock my o rings which i did order and I ordered a few spare gauges , but I would Like to stock a reg for spare parts ,I like to fix my pcp guns with out having to wait for parts that usually can fail

If you go to the parts diagrams you can look up the parts from the various guns to see if they have the same part number then you will know if the parts are interchangeable.

Which they are as I was curious myself. The reg housing, reg rod and screw all have the same part numbers from gun to gun.

I have had my impact for over two years now and have put over 10K rounds through it. The only part that I have had a problem with was the regulator rod and it was bad from the factory. It is plastic and will eventually wear but I would expect that would not be for many years.

I like many stocked up on o-rings also as so many talk about them constantly, like they fail all of the time, the only failure I have had with o-rings has been due to my tearing the gun down several times and damaging one. The o-rings I bought will likely be outdated and hard before I even need them. Although I expect it may be different in a very dusty environment.

thanks , I have had over 20 types of Pcp guns so my oring collection's quite large , I know poly o rings last 5 yrs and buna are like 15 yrs ,

ok so regulators same , this makes sence . I understand the piston is the only part which would wear other then o rings ,

My Maverick currently has Impact gen 3 Huma regulators in it, so yep, they'll work. I'm using the extra high pressure ones, because I like power I actually emailed Huub at Huma, and he told me they are the same. I hope that helps.

hey sToti ,wife doing great , I had surgery on ankle and had to have plates and screws ect so I am unable to walk yet , I am getting around with a knee scooter , but soon I be shooting again ,Titus is getting pissed in house , I used to take him out pesting every day lol .

yes they answered it is same , I just got a used maverick and a used impact mk2 , so I want to stock regs so if I ever need one when I tune them , you have great day too , I got guns to give me something to do while still house ridden ,LOU

Hey, Lou, I’ve never formally chatted with you, but what you had done sounds like painful. I hope the heal goes well. If you are going stir crazy, may I suggest sorting and weighing ammo? Easy to do, and keeps you in the hobby.

hey ragu we did this me and wife sorted all pellets i own . thanks for idea it stinks being laid up for 3 mo .
