Tuning Maverick or wildcat BT owners please look.

Ok been all over the map with thinking and I think I might just plunge and buy a cat BT value priced edition. To start I am wondering from anyone that has bought a new Maverick or BT wildcat what the out of the box tune was in 25 caliber and how good was it? Assuming they would throw a tune conducive of shooting 25.39? I have a bunch of those and hades that I would be shooting. I’m hoping to start by just using the factory tune. Where should I expect the regs to be set from the factory ? Also I have watched Steve’s Maverick tuning video extensively so I would eventually tweak it for optimum efficiency with 25.39 and hades. Do you guys have any good suggestions for settings on the BT wildcat in 25 with 600 mm barrel, everything stock, for 25.39 ? Thank you much.

@Trucker3573, I've had both the Maverick and WC MK3 Sniper in .22-.25-.30
With the introduction of the WCBT they are really the same AR. The feel of each when shouldering are vastly different. I personally liked my maverick for the bench and the WC for woods hunting, there is something special about the stock on the WC that it just has a magical compact feel. OOTB tunes can vary slightly from batch to batch, so a few will get one tune and some another. Standard should be in the ball park of 150bar/100-110bar for the 25.
39 Shoot it and see, you need to break it in anyways. Do some chrony testing with the PW on target and see what she'll do. No harm in trying and run a tin or two through her and then start on a "Steve Tune".
Both are nice AR's, but I prefer my M3's for many reasons.
Enjoy your choice.

I have bought 5 FX guns in the last 14 months. Not one of them came tuned worth beans and that includes the tune from the retailer. Do not count on that tune for anything.
My advice is leave it alone and shoot 500 or so shots and let things settle in then go to tuning.
Just for general guidelines my Maverick Compact 25 is set up to shoot 25.39’s in the high 880’s. That is 106 bar on PW7 with the IHS @ 4.5mm from the top of the spring cap.
Don’t worry about your first reg. For pellets set it at 150 and leave it. That 20-40 bar differential has nothing to do with how it shoots. Mine is set on 150 and using 106 bar and is very accurate and consistent. Those figures will get you in the ball park.
Some folks like to wind them on the second reg around 140 with a lighter hammer setting.

Don't go below the 2nd reg pressure. You will start to see a consistency pattern during your shot cycles from 250b down to whatever you choose to call "fill time" and see subtle changes at certain bar differences between reg1 and reg2. IE: 250-240-230 ETC... There will be a certain "bar" place with your tune that you will discover. Have fun!

Your tune is very close to mine on my VP 600, I measure over all on the Hammer Micro 20.34, boringly consistent. Use the Macro to get your pellet of choice to go. JSB 33.95gr or 25.39 they just work.
