The first time I removed the power wheel from my Maverick I knew it was just a matter of time before I lost that tiny little detent ball.
It happened this morning. I dropped it on the table then it bounced to the hardwood floor never to be found. Swept the floor very carefully, ran the nearby carpet with a strong magnet and a lot of time on my hands and knees.
@#^%$!@ have to call Utah Airguns. All of the sudden it hit me. #7 steel shot should be about the right size. To the ammo cabinet and grabbed a round of 20 ga #7 steel shot. Cut the top off the shell and pinched one out.
Bingo!! Seems a very good fit.
Took the gun to the indoor range to test a tune. I ran the power wheel up and down the scale several times and it functioned flawlessly.
It may not be the exact size but it rides the top of the spring hole without dropping in and holds position on the wheel.
I put 5 or 6 of them in my range bag for just in case
I will get an OEM replacement, but this will keep me shooting until it arrives and will do when I lose it again.
