FX Maverick sniper 25cal

Hi all i have a 25.maverick sniper 700mm got slug power kit And slug liner i have watched loads of videos on tuning and how to go about setting regs ect. can someone get me in the ball park to shoot 37gr zans what reg settings do i need? And what speed should i be aiming for?
Thanks new to this!

180 first reg and start somewhere in the 130 on the second And work your way up to accuracy. Really depends on if you got a good liner also as FX had trouble getting the .25 liners consistent. Don’t really need the slug power kit to get good power out of it. Get the spring adjuster that is sold on eBay. Sold by rpweisman. Looks like they are out of stock now, but they are well worth it for tuning. I think his YouTube channel is Shooting With Phil.

Agree on the Quick Tune setup! Definitely makes tuning simpler. I got one about a month ago and I believe there are a few still available at There should be a few still available at High Pressure Pneumatics - https://myhighpressureair.com/fx-maverick-quick-tune-kit/

Hi yes been watching his channel.

If you cannot find suitable accuracy with the 37 gr Zan try the 33 gr. My Panthera did not like the heavier slugs too well. Dropped to the 33 gr and they shoot very well. My gun has the heavy slug liner as well.
I agree with the 130 bar second reg setting to start.
Got some 33gr also. 900fps ok at 50 yards but start to spiral out over 75 yards

I have a dynamic .25/700mm. I have the first reg. around 130 barr and the second slightly above 150 (@152) I installed a 20g tungsten hammer (important) I tune the hammer spring for about 96% of max below the knee of the power curve which comes to around 1020 fps with the 41 grain zans. It shoots great in this configuration.
I’m not a big fan of going much above 150 barr on the reg. It seems to waste air and the shot becomes more violent which makes it harder to get good accuracy.
