FX Maverick Trigger Adjust - screw feels stuck

Almost looks like the factory did use something.

Recently a member here mentioned he used a soldering iron and held it on the screw until the Locktite melted then made his adjustments.
I would suggest that or some other method of mitigating the Locktite over cranking the bejesus out of your screws. A 1.5 wrench provides very little in the way of surface area to spread that much force. The probability of the rule of unintended consequences has too great a chance of coming into play Without dealing with the thread locking material.

That’s exactly what I did after getting a confirmation that it was loctite. I used a pencil soldering iron for about 5 mins and it softened it enough to turn it with the little end of the allen.

After I put the chassis back on, it lightned the trigger a extra pound, not sure why(I tested it a few times not a fluke). I adjusted then put the chassis back on, tested with pull gauge and repeated a few times until I got 2.5 lbs with the chassis on.

Since it’s new, I know it will lighten up some more with use, so 2.5 is fine and it’s the same weight as my TRG(firearm). Mine was set at 3lbs - 3lbs 3oz from the factory.
