Max fill psi

You won’t get enough extra shots to bother with.
I would not second guess something like maximum fill pressure. Hy risk damaging your gun for a few extra shots?
And that is all it would be, a few extra shots.
I'm not risking damaging any gun.. if the reason the Max fill is 230 because of the tube and the valves in the gun are rated for 250 then it would be the same as my impact or any other gun..

Don't fill for MAX ALLOWED PRESSURE. Fill for MAX EFFICIENCY. Why are people obsessed with maximize fill pressure?
I'm not obsessed with Max fill pressure.. a 250bar Max fill gun is just that.. 250bar.. it's designed to hold 250bar before the regulator valve.. what is the benefit/efficiency of only filling your gun to 230bar if it can be filled to 250?? None...

While it seems that filling to MAX as possible is a good idea, if you haven't discovered it yet, your rifle will have a 'sweet spot' pressure range where it actually shoots better/more accurately within that range.
My M3 for example shoots better in the 210ish down to 160ish bar range (even though my second reg is set at 120 bar). While it shoots 'okay' if filled to 250 bar and lower than the stated 160 bar, it's not as accurate, so to me, that's a minor waste of air.
This is especially true if tuned properly.
Just my observation with my rifle.

Don't say NONE until you've tried it & run the #'s (as in Revoman's post). Same with ANY airgun I've owned, that's why I know NONE isn't the correct response (in MY experience anyway). There have been many discussions about this here. Didn't mean you personally are obsessed about it but the many relevant posts give that general impression.

Agreed that "none" wasn't the correct word there but my point is only that if 250bar could possibly be available over 230, why wouldn't you want to be able to have the extra air..

Because if I fill my FX Boss to the full 250 it IS ABLE to hold it doesn't start shooting its best til around 235-240. Why waste air on an inefficient part of its capacity?
