The next two TEXtreme competitions will (both) be Extreme Field Target, and include rifle and pistol matches. The May 3-4 weekend was changed to Extreme Field Target to allow additional competition practice for our May 31 through June 2 Extreme Field Target GRAND PRIX weekend; that being one of TEXtreme Airgun Sports (two) biggest
, bestest
, mostest richestest
competitions of each season.
As usual for all TEXtreme rifle matches, rifle matches in both aforementioned EFT weekends will take place on the first Saturday of those months. The June GRAND PRIX weekend will also have a second rifle match on Sunday; the aggregate score of those TWO rifle matches determining the Grand Prix results, placements, and Grand Prix points awarded to the top three rifle competition podium placers. Pistol matches on both upcoming EFT weekends will be shot on Friday.
At this point I must separate information and details of the two upcoming EFT weekends. This match announcement will concentrate on the May EFT weekend; another, separate match announcement will detail the EFT GRAND PRIX competition weekend May 31 through June 2.
The sight-in/practice range for the May 3-4 weekend will open Thursday, May 2 from 4 till 7 PM, and again on Friday and Saturday from 9 AM till noon. Shooters meetings for both the Friday pistol and Saturday rifle match will be at noon. All TEXtreme matches begin shortly after completion of the shooters meetings.
The May 3-4 EFT weekend will award prizes three-deep to the rifle competition podium placers, and two deep to the pistol podium placers. All podium placers will receive priceless
TEXtreme Airgun Sports engraved pellet tins. Furthermore, the pistol and rifle Match Winners will receive $200 Airguns Of Arizona gift certificates, Second Place shooters in both competitions will receive $100 AOA gift certificates, and Third Place in the rifle match will pocket a $50 AOA gift certificate.

No meals will be available on site; however snacks and cold beverages will be provided free of charge.
The rifle match entry fee is $30; the pistol match entry fee is $20. Entry fee for both matches is $40. Shooters may shoot rifles of no more than 20 foot pounds of muzzle energy in the pistol match, however no prizes will be awarded to rifle shooters in the pistol competition. Per TEXtreme law, only shooters abiding by ALL TEXtreme rules are eligible for awards.
