AEA Megalodon hammer spring

question does keeping the gun cocked for long times affects the hammer spring? I've always kept it cocked and loaded since I bought it like 4 months..now it hit me that it may cause problems with the spring? And keep it decocked...I know for safety issues should as well... but my main question does the spring suffers or causes issues by keeping it cocked for long times like that? Thank you

3,4,5 hundred fpe?

Note that when cocked, it is the trigger components (sear etc) that prevent a gun from firing. The safety often only restricts the trigger. When cocked, the sear is under constant strain from the hammer spring.
