Microbore Hose

Hello all. So I have purchased a Alkin w31 compressor that should arrive by end of next week. My question is, can you use a microbore hose to fill scba tanks or whatever for that matter with the output of such a compressor. The hose is the ones Huma air sells. I have been using that microbore hose with the yong heng and never had issues, however the fill rate is much higher on the alkin than the yong heng.

Alkin compressors have a fill hose and assembly that comes with the compressor. You specify which connection your tank uses when you buy the compressor. Alkins will fill with a microbore hose but why would you use one when the factory fill whip can connect to your tank?
Because you may want to reach further than the whip on the compressor or in my case add a large calibrated digital gauge on the wall which was two additional whips.

I have several different fill connectors for the W31. The one I use most is the DIN300 since it provides a rigid connection. One of my tanks has an HP3 valve which fills through a male foster. Alkin sold me a female foster connector that threads directly to the fill hose in place of the DIN lever assembly. It has a bleed screw to release pressure. I also have an adapter that connects to the DIN300 that is used to fill CGA-347 fireman's tank valves.
