N/A Mini Bench Tri-Pod Recommendation

Looking for a recommendation on a bench tripod setup. Was thinking of this

Leofoto LS-223CX with LH-25 Head​

I assume I need an adapter of some sorts to convert it to picanny bottom rail on the rifle?

If anyone has recommendation for adapter or a better tripod I would love to hear.

Ask Augie (Bigragu). He's got a sweet, SOLID setup. You could always use a saddle clamp too, not just the picatinny setup.

Where do you buy the ones that have a elevation lever that you see those guys at RMAC using. Looks pricey .

You right, I was there so I had the chance to see them up close I even asked them how much they pay for it and the said between $1500.00 / $2000.00 depending the style and features . Good luck

Why tripod over a bipod or bag setup for bench?

Using a tripod you eliminate human error, also bipod are to flexible and depending on the brand some of them are crap. My humble opinion

I have exactly the model you were looking at. The tripods are really well built and I ended up buying a second one. The 25mm ball head is ok for lighter setups but if your pcp is over ~8lbs or poorly balanced you might want something like a 50-55mm.

The ARCA-Swiss mounts are very handy too. What are you trying to mount on the tripod? Depending on which pcp you have might determine some good options for converting to ARCA-Swiss.

Thanks for the response. I’m mounting a AEA challenger pro LB. It will be 11 pounds with scope once fully assembled /
Mounted tripod.

It has picanny on bottom by trigger and another one further down on air tube. Son probably sticking with picatinny as no way to run a different rail really.

Yeah I would upgrade to the bigger ball head for that beast. Now I have not used any of these suggestions but I can tell you the build quality from these companies is top tier. Saber Tac makes a pic to ARCA adapter, and so does Strike Industries. The Saber Tac has a nice slim profile so I would opt for that one.
