MKI Crown vs MKII barrel

Have an MKI Crown in .22 with a 600 mm barrel. Magazines, both factory and aftermarket, fits perfectly. I purchased a 380 mm barrel in .22. I believe this barrel/shroud is for the MKII, as it has the pellet port and the slug port.

The issue I have is that my magazines fit so loose with the 380 mm barrel installed that it falls out when the bolt is open and the gun is tilted. The barrel and shroud are installed correctly, it just appears it is a few millimeters short of being seated to the same as my 600 mm barrel.

What can I do to correct this, or do I just have to live with it?

Well, the first thing I would try would be to push the barrel in some more. Sometimes you think the barrel is seated and it actually can go in a few millimeters. Next, check your magazines. If you have lost the little o’ ring that fits in the magazine it will not matter hope well seated the barrel is, the magazine will not fit well.
