Diana Model 34 Washers on barrel bolt?

When putting one back together that I just got (that was a train wreck) there was no washers in the recess over the barrel pivot bushing. I was watching a video on YouTube yesterday and it looks like on his particular rifle there were thin washers.
My gun is a very early T1 made in 82 or 92(can't tell if it's 9 or 8)

So what do you think are they missing or possibly some early guns didn't have them?

Should be 1 on either side of block ( 2 in total )
Thank you. Schematics I found don't show it unless I'm just not seeing them.

The worst part was I brought the gun saying it "just needed a rebuild" but the yoke that screws into the receiver that holds the front stock screw the screw was snapped off and buggered in the receiver. I very carefully milled it out and was able to retap it to a bit larger screw .it looked like somebody had tried to mess with it previously. The company that sold it to me would have had to know because when you pick the gun up it rattled.

What Company did you get it from?
They did say "just needed a rebuild" and don't sound like they lied.
For me? That sounds like a proper deal and they don't care about that rattle.
Probably WHY they sold it as "just needed a rebuild".

I'm not complaining it was only $60 😀

A rebuild as far as I'm concerned means new spring and seals, not having the machine out a broken screw and re-thread a part that is broken and rattling. I still would have bought it knowing that though.

Now I have no idea on what possible part your speaking of ???
You have the barrel inserted into the forks. The washers are on the barrel block. You put the hollow pivot through the forks through the barrel. You are left with a screw and a little nut that goes through the pivot. Are there washers under The nut and the screw?

No Diana I've ever had has any kind of washer on the outside of the forks.
And I've got one that goes back to pre-WWII.

The diana 45 I rebuilt had them. I guess you've never had a 45?
And this is one of the reasons I was asking the question.
And it appears the model 25 & 27 also had washers on the outside.
