Moderating an AF Condor/Talon with an 18" barrel?

My Condor/Talon has a 12" barrel and I'm not pleased with the effiency. The Airforce site has the LW barrels in .20 cal on sale so I went for an 18" barrel. I figure 6 inches more barrel is going to make a lot of difference. That's going to create problems for me with moderation but maybe someone has an idea for me on how to solve that?

Here you go Spook. 18" bbl with Donny fl adapter and moderator on talon ss frame.

You still have 1/2 inch out of the frame..tread the barrel and use the donny moderator of your preference ..so you could go from a 5" to a 8" depending on your needs..I tread all my barrels.

Thank you, Sir! I thought it was going to end at the end cap. Good news. That will likely be the route I take. I'm doing some hammer spring work on it to flatten out the adjustment curve. Which looks like this right now:

That's that 12" barrel in .20 that I mentioned elsewhere and at the top of the thread here. The 24" barrel was quite tempting at the price but I already have a rifle with a 30" barrel =) My .50 lefty Tenn. Poor Boy Flinter I gather from some of your posts we share the same feelings about lefty shooters being left out in the cold too often? Dad always told me I was "wrong" handed. I always spat right back, No, sir I am "right" handed. Took the Drills a little extra effort with me on my "military right". =)

@ Spook, 25 cal. Shoot the mk ll and D-rig vk 33 gr slugs well also .
