Moderator adapter for R9?

Removing the choke is a dicey proposition something to consider if you're thinking about cutting the barrel. A good gunsmith can cut, thread, choke and recrown the barrel. Some people have tried it at home with mixed results. I've never been inclined to try it.
With adapters for true moderators have to be perfectly centered to the barrel or you'll experience clipping. A knock on or slip on cocking aid is far less fussy as they are typically well overbored and bottom out on the end of the barrel.
Fwiw the factory Weihrauch front sight won't ever slide if you clean and dry the dovetails with denatured alcohol and tighten the screw with a good fitting hollow ground screwdriver. Now the insert retaining ring, that sucker always loosens up.
