I put the Tatsu on my newish .177 Crown because I wanted to keep the gun on the short side & still fit it into its case. It's just a shorter version of the Sumo but with the .177 I didn't need the extra quieting. I'm guessing the Tatsu would be good for .177 & .22 and the Sumo may be more appropriate for the larger calibers. I suspect that the difference might be minimal. If you already have several of the DonnFL moderators, you are probably in a good position to be a pretty good judge of what to expect.
I use a Ronin on my Hatsan Bullboss, makes it whisper quite, I tried my Sumo and it was ok, I think a Tatsu would not be that great on a Hatsan. Too small.
