Moderator for RAW

This is a dead nuts True statement. ^^^^

I spoke with Mike over at TKO about this for my RAW .25 after he did such a great job on the Moderator for my Feinwerkbau 800FT 20J .

As usual he knew Exactly what to do so i turned him loose, a week later i had my custom 205mm moderator and it does an outstanding job of taming the beast.
I know he also did a custom for a friend of mine in Baton Rouge after Richard saw mine.

There was Zero POI change with mine on either gun, the Feinwerkbau or RAW.

My HM1000x just came and I took a few shots to test it in my basement. This rifle is set up to shoot 13.4 gr KO slugs at 1050 fps, so it's high power. I started with a Donny FL/FX 17/25 moderator and was quite surprised how quiet it was. Just a tad more than most of my other rifles. I then tried a Danny FL/Tatsu 30 cal and it was much louder. I'm sticking with the first one.

I currently have the Silent Thunder Falx on my RAW .25 cal LRT. At 60 - 62 ft lbs of power, I find that it does a stellar job of toning down the beast. I have also had very good results with a Ramus Trident moderator at about $100 dollars more. Both work well and do not introduce any unusual deviations in accuracy. As with all things, your mileage may vary..........

PS, if you want to try a Trident..............pm me.
What flow rate core did you get ?

I have a .20 cal / 20 FPE TM1000, pretty much the same gun as yours but your is probably a different caliber and puts out more power. Anyway between my Huma Modular Air Moderator MOD40-4/0 Avalanche 7.36“ x 1.55” and my Neil Clague 8” x 1.25”, the Neil Clague does a slightly better job despite having less internal volume. The Huma is for a .22 cal and the Neil Clague was ordered for a .20 cal, not sure how much difference there is in the exit hole size and if that makes a difference. Both are of excellent quality.
