do you have access to a 3D printer? if so this one works great, you are going to want better magazines, Carm, Maple or the ones from Firewalker

don't have a 3D printer unfortunately. I ordered two 10shot magazines from Maple, not sure they're any good, saw someone posted there's 12 shots version available that is made in USA, would love to buy a few more from local but can't find any link to it.

Funny story: I added the small drop block and a .22L bottle, chopped off the stock moderator and added a TS moderator and cut 2oz off the weight of the gun and it stayed the same length. I out a 3X12 BugBuster scope on it and I can hit 50 yards all day long with CPHP's.

I have BroCock, FX, the Notos is what I grab every time to pest!

I bought the moderator insert and a 15 rd magazine from TS, it will be here Monday. Im trying to wrap my head around how you remove the stock moderator and have a way to mount a moderator insert?

Is it a different moderator and not an insert?

Just as you have already stated, it's an insert, not a replacement.

Remove the 2 splined pins holding the cap by pushing them out spline first.

Remove the cap, the oring and the red plastic insert halves.

Insert the TS moderator, align and replace the pins.

Ok. The way I read the post I quoted, when you said "chopped off the moderator" in my head I thought you were saying you removed all of the stock one from the barrel.

I guess I just assumed that. To be clear, I'm just trying to learn and not be argumentative. Sometimes it's hard for me to wrap my head around what I read.

Actually, you are not wrong but there are TWO moderators that TS makes, the insert and the Long John. The insert is just that, it inserts into the empty moderator housing. The LJ is threaded to 1/2X20 UNF and is threaded onto the barrel of the Notos AFTER the moderator housing has been removed and the barrel has been threaded.

Two different setups, 2 different moderators, choices...
