Moderator issue Daystate

Picked up a new barrel 25 cal added a shroud. I was using a 177 shroud the moderator is for 30 cal problem the pellet is clipping the moderator what should I be doing wrong? Open for suggestions, the barrel and shroud have never been taken off till now. Bought them about six months ago.

Also, make sure the moderator is screwed on tight.

Which model Daystate. Just to clarify, it was a .177 and you bought a new .25 barrel and shroud, and are using a .30 cal moderator?

Red wolf 30 cal i took the shroud off my .177 barrel

Seems like the air stripper at the muzzle should properly center the shroud and moderator and prevent any pellet clipping.

Is it clipping on the shroud? Are the shrouds caliber specific? It would not surprise me, as they do have a stripper in them . . .
