No matter what they claim it to be. If you screw it on to the end of a firearm...... it can be considered a suppressor. And the owner of the firearm better have the appropriate paperwork to validate use.

they're are pieces of metal, how you use them is up to you
there are muzzle brakes on Ebay that look like the guts that are 1" OD
and they are little like the old Paris-D LDC
you would need a 1/2-28 to 1/2-20 adapter and Hughes makes them and very nice they are

Only for fuel filter for cars. Lmao. We all know it's a silencer for guns. I'm no auto mechanic but I have change oil on my car and I have never seen such a silencer on my car. Call it want you want but if it even reduce the noise on a firearm by 1db. You are in deep ****. Better have a good lawyer.

I would love a 'fuel filter' for my match-grade Ruger 10/22 target rifles,
but even going through the Alphabet org process and paying for the tax-stamp to get them..
Here in Satan's Butthole aka NY state, 'fuel filters' are Illegal anyways. F'n "Safe Act".
I've also seen some pretty interesting 'Maglite flashlight / Solvent traps' over the years.

I'm ordering something similar from Amazon, have to do some drilling on the baffles or whatever you want to call them, but it's 1/2"-20 threads, no adapter needed, cheap enough to let my curiosity get the best of me, and 100% legal on my air rifles, although the Cayden is the only loud one and I can still shoot that in my shop at a target in the back yard at 25 yards and doesn't seem to raise an eyebrow.

This filter is for a diesel engine. They are designed and work differently than a gas engine oil filter
