Moderators no longer allowed in Classifieds?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it is quietly spreading like a cancer across the country. A similar bill is working it's way through the CO legislature as we speak.
Think about this: I was considering moving back to IL where I was born and lived for 59 years. So if I went back to IL, and any airgun over .177 or more than 5 fpe is considered a firearm, and I take my .30 Sidewinder airgun which is not only semi automatic but fully automatic, I can be arrested. See the future?
You can laugh now, but the anti's are following a divide and conquer strategy, and they are winning. You don't care now, but when it gets to your state you will. I'm 68 and will not be surprised if it is Nation wide in my lifetime.

People pushed the envelope of the rules and went beyond what could be argued as intended for airgun use. Michael warned everyone about the rule being changed if it didnt stop. I would say Michael and the rest of the administration got tired of it and here we are. Even in this thread theres at least one post that is pushing the limits of the new rule if not breaking it.

Been trying to talk about subjects related to this here for years. Most of it was deleted and I've been threatened with expulsion. Then you see members post about running and gunning, barricade shooting, and tactical training with semi auto Leshiy L2's. We are on the same path as AR's and will suffer the same fate. Been nice talking to you guys.

Irrelevant. If it can be used a single time, to the end stated, even if it is destroyed but still reduces the signature.... it can be deemed illegal.
Threads are irrelevant, it can be fixed via tape, clamps, ect. If it works one time and reduces signature at all, it can be proven to be illegal. If they want to throw the book at you, they can. Fwiw.

Funny, people don't like to hear it, but doesn't make it any less true. Go study case law on relevant cases and get back to me. I've already done my homework.
