I’m in Kentucky and have 2 of the model 3 , had one 2 years now . I use them to fill an impact m3 and a Leshiy 2 .
I don’t use a filter - maybe I should but with that said I’ve also had my guns apart many , many times and yet to notice any water or signs of moisture . I agree that nitrogen out of a bottle would be drier option but these seem to do ok . They are built strong and simple to service with parts available .
I use a 20” box fan setting against the compressor when I use them for additional cooling and stocked up on spare parts to keep them running from Target Forge back in the spring . Also had the compressor apart to repair the valve system . These are very easy to repair with videos on the utube .
Hate they are Chinese made but since this country doesn’t make products any more we are left with few choices in the compressor price range .
The fact these compressor are avaible today has changed the playing field for many who would never gotten into airguns because of cost of the compressor not too many years ago .
