Western Airguns Mordax pcp!

The GK1 shoots very consistent strings due to the self-regulating nature of the hammerless system and can maintain power and accuracy in rapid fire because it’s not hamstrung by a small plenum being refreshed slowly by a regulator.
Now what do we have here? Addition of a reg and small plenum, an increase to .30 cal and a full auto switch. Hopefully the laws of physics will provide some special accommodations

I can’t believe people haven’t heard about it yet!!
You cant believe it? lol.. look, first its a new product and second its tottaly useless product as far as im concerned. it doesnt even come close to the huben gk1 on every general considered important aspect of an airgun. yet they try sell it ALOTmore expensive ($1,879.00) then a huben gk1 which i bought for 1250usd. Just another one who tried to beat huben and failed hard, didnt even come close. a small comparison:

1. compactness/weight
a EASY win for the huben gk1. mordax is more like a rifle almost. much heavier to.

2. power
a EASY win for huben gk1. As in specs of mordax 7 shots at 45 FPE in .30 (MOD EDIT Rule #3)

3. efficiency
EASY win for the gk1. (mordax 7 shots at 45 fpe in .30 vs huben 17+ shots all above 60fpe in .25)

4. accuracy
EASY win for the gk1. (there is no accuracy at 45fpe on .30 after 100yards.. speed is to low)

at least they tried to do a remove mag , but failed. air may slip and make it louder and less efficient/accurate. it is also completely useless to have a removeable mag when it got so low efficiency and u will need refill after few shots anyway. for me this gun is at hatsan velox level, maybe evanix viper level, but not even close to huben. "the future of airguns" dont make me laugh.

I agree that the removeable mag is kinda useless with such a low shot count. Not to mention that spare mags will cost a fortune, since they're made of titanium. The only advantage I can think of is that it's a lot easier and faster to load than the GK1.

That said, I don't think the sound and "air slipthrough" will be much of an issue. The WA Sidewinder has a removeable mag too, and I've never heard anyone complain about the sound or air efficiency. The sidewinder is quite powerful too, so it doesn't seem to affect the power either.

Stop being level headed and reasonable!!!

We all know BIG AIRGUN is a scam trying to steal our money!!!

Buy what you enjoy and save the vitriol for your government guys. They are the ones that hate you, not our manufacturing friends.

I’ve had a chance this morning to send rounds, and I’m really pleased with the form and function. I don’t need the fun button to be primary use - just occasional smiles, and it certainly works for that. So much so that I’m liable to sell a few guns in my collection since it ticks all the boxes for me.

One thing I don’t love is that the stock is quite short - I will be looking to upgrade that ASAP.
