Beeman More .20 R-9 pellet info

Back in the day, the Crosman Premier FT 14.3 was the rage. They are the most accurate for my R-9.I shot some yesterday; they were old and tight. I put the JSB 13.73 up against them, and it was hard to tell the difference in accuracy.
I have some other.20 pellets to try, maybe today.
I am just posting this because of the BS about finding pellets in .20.
"Seek and You Shall Find". btw. The .20 has always been a great caliber.

I've still got a few boxes stashed away.
I break them out from time to time but mostly shoot JSBs. H&N barracudas shoot really well in most of my .20 cals too.
Have an older R9 that prefers the FTTs but it has an exceptionally tight bore.
Yeah I don't get the whole pellet selection thing either especially in springers. Find what works and stick with it!

I had just ordered 20 tins H&N ftt 8.64 that work great in most of my Competition guns a week later PA had them on sale ,with the buy3 get one free . Bought a case (my wife questioned the charge on the card because i had just made the former purchase ) so i ended up with a goodly number o tins .
But now i am shooting mostly wadcutters because domes rip the heavy paper targets . Eventually i will use the FTT's

A couple three years ago it wasn't BS. During Covid it was hard finding good quality pellets in any caliber. 20 caliber went out of stock in hours. I pray none of that happens again, but in troubled times 20 cal production is cut before most others. Certainly before 177 and 22.
During Covid there was a shortage of .20 cal. pellets at most of the Air gun venders, but I bought all I needed and then some at regular retail cost from Trainer Air Gun supply, the few venders that had some were asking up to $35.00 per tin, I paid $16.00 for tins of 500 ct.
My last order from them was at the end of 2021 for 5000 .20 cal. H&N FTT pellets, I'm still shooting from the previous order, it's wise to stock up when the price is reasonable and stocks are high.

I never noticed, but then again I hadn't yet aquired three springers that I now have in .20.
They go through tins quicker than the Sheridans.
Still no issues finding ammo as yet.

Stock up on ,20 at times like now when they are plentiful

I just looked up .20 cal pellets and was surprised to see predator polymags

I haven't noticed any shortage of .20 cal. pellets either lately, I just wish there was a greater variety, but then again the .20 is not as popular as it once was, especially now that some of the popular quality air gun makers are discontinuing the .20 from their offerings.
I have vintage Blue Streak and a HW-80 K in .20 caliber, I'm hoping that a .20 cal. HW-50 will find it's way into my hands some day.

If they had more variety you'd have more tins of pellets that didn't work for you laying around. Like the non .20 cals do. 🤣
There is a post on here where Luv2hunt is documenting Sheridan history if you have one he's looking for pics of cetain views for ID etc.

It would be nice if wadcutters were still available for the paper targets

Wadcutters are great for pests (at reasonable ranges). They're better than most gimmicky hunting pellets that most springers can't expand. Wadcutters hit like a frying pan and chop out big holes in critters.
