So I cleaned the bore yesterday and shot plenty of fouling shots yesterday afternoon to clear the Ballistol and lead in the barrel. I got a fresh can of CPHP 7.9grn from Wally to try today. It just does not do well with them or the 10.5 Crosman mags at 25 yards (more like 23 probably). I pushed them to the side and picked up the JSB 10.3's. Today instead of curling my left arm back I used not only my front Caldwell bag but the rear as well, it tightened things up. I can get 40 shots from 1800 to 1,000 psi with the .42 spring in the rifle. I was going to put the factory one back in and try it some more but I just decided to leave it, it does .40 to .60 inch all day at 25 yards with the JSB's......even with the heavy trigger and 4 power centerpoint I had laying around. It stacks polymags at 13-18 yards (my rat shooting range). I am really really happy with this rifle. It is quiet and with the .42 spring I get away with the 5 inch TKO to save some overall length.
I thought of getting another Mantis 3-9 scope for it and ordering more pellets to try but I think I am just gonna pull the brake and enjoy it how it is. It is 6.0 pounds ready to shoot on my digital fishing scale. I have 162 into the rifle with shipping and the hillair .42 spring. If I wanna pull my hair out over trying for the smallest groups I will just pull out the marauders, this one is staying how it is........utility rifle. I would highly recommend this rifle with a promo code under 199.
