More on gun totes

Finally got around to building a tote for my XFT rifle. Built a couple previously for my regular FT and based this one off of the others.
This one, I added a “pellet tin post” to make accessing pellets easier when sitting (HFT). To insure the tin stays in place, I installed a 3/4”dia. Neodymium magnet to to end of the post and put a 1/2” Neodymium magnet inside the tin. Tin ain’t going anywhere…
I added clear PVC tubing to the tote ropes to keep the ropes from cutting into my hand while carrying it. I found some simple coat/hat hooks and installed them to the sides of the uprights to carry my BOG POD shooting sticks.
I have only the basic hand tools and I do not claim to be a carpenter. Material total was just over $30 and took about six hours to build including time for the glue and stain to dry. I plan on installing the fuzzy side of Velcro to the contact surfaces to the gun to reduce any undesirable chafing.
I considered PVC but to do it right, (i.e. durable and sturdy) I was looking at just north of $100.
I know the kool kidz use the child jogging carts but I don’t like the idea of my gun/scope bouncing around when moving from lane to lane. And last week at the TeXtreme match, one shooter who was using a buggy had his gun bounce out of his cart and onto the ground. My shooting stool has pockets so I can carry anything else I may need, even my pony tank if need be but I get a full match on one fill.
