I have had my Talonp for little over 7 years and have several other guns (RAW 1000x, Condor, Taipan) but the TalonP with DonnyFl Shogun and Athlon Talos 4x16x40 carbine still gets most of pesting work and small game hunting done around here. I have been in love with this gun since I put it all together. The combo is quiet , lightweight, quick to fill and puts plenty of power down range. Mine loves H&N Barracuda hunter extreme 28.4 pellets and the pop when I hit something is addicting way louder than the report from the Shogun. Nice. Pics never thought it would penetrate both sides of that cylinder.

What kind of scope mounts do you use for your TalonP. I yoinked the dovetail rings off a Hatsan scope I had laying around and it has the slight problem of moving slightly forward after a few shots. Not a huge problem but I do gotta make sure to untighten and push the scope back down the rail.

I remember in the old days, stringing a empty small Co2 bottle up like sort of a spinner, and soon our .22 FX air rifles made a hole in the damn thing even if it could swing freely around a steel shaft.
Of course that was just 12 - 15 M distance and the 18 grain JSB heavies still had smacking power there.

We now have a couple of smaller 1/2 - 1/4 gall or so volume propane tanks we use as gongs, there are a little gas in all of them i think, and they are getting dented alright, so sooner or later we have chewed our way into them.
They are at least 50 M away.
