Most accurate long-range Bullpup

Thats exactly. What im saying KDOG IVE WATCHED those videos also and I'm totally Blown Away by the accuracy at over 200 yards I shoot Lefty so it's not really set up for a lefty I'm not really a fan of the stock but I sure am a fan of the accuracy amazes me how far away did they their accurate I wish they were magazine-fed and also that they would move the cocking handle forward but that's just me thank you for your opinion

"Hynzie"Well guys I see some of these bullpups pulling off some of these miraculous long-range shots. 200 yards plus. any opinions what would be the most accurate long-range Bullpup. I see the Ed gun shooting 250 yards like it was shooting targets 25 yards away opinions please.
Eds videos are really weird, his groups are really bad with fliers at short range but then people are raving about how good the far distance performance it. Makes me wonder why he is so quick to release his videos. It is entertaining though LOL

"drumie"If looking for a pellet shooter check out the Crickets. I had one in .25 cal that could hit a 12"x18" steel target at 300 yards almost everytime when the wind was very calm. It was just stupid accurate. I sold it because it just didn't fit me right. I got a vulcan and it is very accurate, i think the cricket was a little better.
What was it in the fit that just wasn’t right?

Thats the thing; I see all these folks raving about these bull pups, and I don’t doubt the claims, but they look just unnaturally uncomfortable.

Maybe it it just takes getting used to??

I'm partial to Taipan Veteran .25. It's proven itself to me at 250 yards. Would be further but I ran out of scope elevation. Took more shots than I had wanted to hit the golfball but I didn't take my own advice and set up against a sand berm so I could see where my pellets were striking. Keep in mind as well you want the best trigger you can get in a bullpup and then do some research and you'll find the Taipan is the one to beat.

Hynzie, FWIW, I am a lefty and shoot my matador just fine. If you watch Ed's videos than you see that he is also left handed it's no problem at all. Not sure I would even want a left handed action now if he offered one I'm so used to shooting it this way.

"intenseaty22"I don’t know if it compares to the Matador, but the .25 Cricket with added plenum/ power tune from either Charlie or Ernest is known to have great speed and power along with excellent accuracy. I like the lever vs bolt as well.

I kind feel the same way. I am getting the airgun itch again,( every Christmas for the last decade I buy my self an air rifle) I am thinking a Vulcan , Charlie Tuned .25 or the EDgun Matador Power Tuned. Is anyone power tuning the Vulcan yet? It looks more user friendly? Probably has enough power as well. But more power is appealing.

If you go to GA website and look at the power tunned.25 Cricket, you will see a good explanation on how it is done. Basically, you are adding to the rear of the air tank (plenum) making the total length of the air tank that much longer. there is just enough room on that barrel/shroud to accommodate for this.

If you look at the Vulcan, it seems that the air tank and shroud are very close in size, adding to the air tank would make it longer than the shroud. Unless there is a different way to power tune that I am not aware of, it may just be the way it is.

I would say: If you need/want the power and reachability, go with the power turned .25 Cricket or even the Matador version of power tuned if that’s your preference. If smaller gun, more woods walking friendly is needed, go with.22 Vulcan. If looking for more of a rifle feel, but trying to keep size under control, check out the Cricket Mini Carbine.

Yeah, on the Vulcan you would have to make a longer shroud. Probably could be done. The cricket mini carbine would be a lot better than the Cricket, as it puts the slide handle close to where it should be. It currently is only in .22. That or the Vulcan is the most appealing, especially for long walks & handling ease. . I am sure in a few months somebody will bring them up to higher power for the MKII. Wonder if the Vulcan mag handles MKII pellets?

vulcan is a little underpowered. handles mk2 just fine. tbh my vulcan prefer them over the normal 24 grains. as for a shroud. dont mess with that just get the long stock silencer and you just added quite a bit of length to the barrel.

That said, only a short wildcat comes close to the ez and weight of a vulcan. perfect pick up and go gun.
