what style of .177 pellet do you find to be most accurate ? pointed ? hollow point ? bb tipped ? flat ? or domed ? I have been using crossman piranha 10.5 gr. and they are all over the target . Got them with the rifle ,wont buy them again . Thanks for your recommendations .

My Crosman F4 prefers RWS Meisterkugeln (8.2 grain) flat. Pirahna and BB-tipped are big thumbs down. WM

At low power and out to 15y, wadcutter. At higher power and out to longer ranges, domed.
Gotta try more than a couple brands/types. They might look alike but your barrel will surely tell you there is a difference on target.

Those Piranhas are in my "top 3 worst pellets ever tried". Straight Diabolo domes are probably, overall, the "best" in most guns but what's best in each individual's gun is what gives the most pinpoint accuracy. Can depend on gun's idiosyncrasies OR the shooter's. "The Best" type of questions are hard to answer. Too many variables (& contexts).

Domed jsb 18gn exact heavy 870 fps. If I put them on the scale and inspect the pellets no problem putting them through the same hole.

Thanks for all the reply's . Based off them I bought some domed 10.5 grain .177 Crossman pellets . I relize not the best brand , but they are the only domed pellets at the local store . I washed ,weighed , and lubed (with silicon spray) . Counted out 10 and gave them a shot , with much better results . Only 1 flyer , the rest on paper . That makes me fell better about ordering online some quality pellets . Thanks again !
