Whats everyone find that is an accurate pellet? I'm shooting a 22 cal Marauder . just looking to get the most out of the gun! Thanks for your help!!

It's a "barrel" thing.
EVERY barrel is a little different. Some minutely, some by a larger amount. Some from a similar gun, will like one or two pellets, some from the similar gun...will not.
Most...barrels like the JSB, "Exact" pellets. Most pellets all have the Diabolo (semi-hourglass) shape, so the shape is of little concern.
Some like heavier, some like lighter pellets.
So...go buy a couple of tins of JSB Exact pellets of different weights, and start shooting.
THEN when you feel like experimenting, buy some different brands like FX, or Air Arms, or Premier, or H&N, or.......
Your barrel and as shot target will tell you what YOUR...barrel / gun likes best.

I don't own a Marauder but a friend of mine does and he really likes the 18.13 jsb pellet the best. It also shoots the polymag pretty well too. Hope this helps.

What MikeVV said ! I have a Daystate pulsar , mine likes JSB monster , A friend has the same gun and his gun likes the redesign monster's now we are talking a dime size group VS a .25 group and that's basically the same pellet .

I've had a good many .22 air rifles. I've never had one (that I kept) that didn't shoot one, and usually both of the JSB Exact pellets well.

If you really want to test your weapon, buy a sampler pack that includes several weights of pellets from the same manufacturer.

I would guess the JSB 18.13 works well in most 22s. For a 177, a JSB 10.3 seems to be magic too. So I think JSB in some form.
I guess another "rule" would be to keep the velocity below 900fps with most standard barrels. So if you can't adjust the velocity well, adjust the pellet weight to satisfy that "guess". So I would sooner buy a medium to moderate heavy pellet than a lightweight.

I've had good accuracy with both the 18.1 and 15.89 JSBs in my .22 Marauder. I have it de-tuned to <20 fpe so I can shoot the occasional FT match. Both pellets seem to fare well at the slower speeds.
Of course the only way to really know is.......try different types of ammo and compare for yourself!

My crosman/benjamin guns always liked 18.13 jsb.
My Kral guns LOVE jsb hades in 22 or 25 cal they're laser beams.
The marauder was probably designed to work well with the crosman 14.3 pellets which are what most of us use for testing/tuning and plinking. You might get lucky and they shoot great for you and then you got a keeper because it gets costly shooting a $22 tin of jsb vs the $7 tin of crosmans for the same 500 count.

In many cases, no two Marauders shoot the same pellets equally. Both of my .22 Marauders liked different pellets at different speeds. Experiment and have fun. Let us know what you discover on your journey.

When it comes to choosing the most accurate pellet for a 22 caliber Marauder, there are a few options to consider. What distance you talking about and what is your game.
A best advise is buy one tin of each BRAND and go weights up from middle towards heaviest. So we talking maybe 10-15-20 tins. And you start playing what your barrel likes the most. And you train and practice along the way and that is a best thing to do.

I have just started PCPing with a .22 P-Rod, set up as a carbine with a long eye relief variable pistol scope set at 5X. The 16.05gr pointed copper coated H&N Excite Coppa Spitzkugel is a one-hole pellet at 15 yards rested.

With patient diameter and weight sorting, Crosmans can be just as good as the premium stuff. I did a sort of a tin of 0.177 and 0.22 once. Culled about 5% for visible damage and another 15% or so on the extreme dimensional ranges. The remainder were very impressive shooting.

The 18 grain JSB Heavy and the 21 grain H&N Baracuda are quite often tops in accuracy from many guns. The 15.9 JSB too.

JSB 18.1 and 15.9 grain, and rebranded variants of same. You won't find anything more accurate.

I'd say IMHO, the JSB .22, 18.1 grain, the .25 Kings (25.4 grain), and the .30 caliber 44.75 grain always seem to hit the X for me...
