Most desirable thing in the airgun world?

There are obviously many things that are desirable in this hobby. But what is MOST desirable? To have your own compressor? Cost effective pellets / slugs? Projectile friendly barrels? All would be great, but, I feel the absolute best thing is to have your own personal range. No range fees, no extra travel, no loading and unloading a multitude of gear each time. Now all you breakbarrel folks got the rest of us on this granted. Just to have your own range with no problems with neighbors, or with cool ones, life would be great for a shooter. What say you?

Most desirable is simple: 100 yards, no wind, 70 degrees and plenty of pellets.

I have this at my brothers house… except for the damn wind, lol

Compressor, doubtless !!

You may have the must beautiful and accurate rifle with the very best scope for your needs, but if you do not have a compressor, you will suffer the shooting, knowing your arms and your back are going to suffer refilling every shot you shoot with your "perfect rifle" !!

Agreed, hard to beat a home range. Max I could manage was 66-yards but moving portable shooting table and MTM Predator Rest to rear porch, good to go. Getting warm in Florida so waiting till shade from trees, in late afternoon, works best. Shot three guns yesterday before supper, life is sweet. WM

I would have to agree with the OP on having your own range in your back yard. Being able to shoot right here at home was the main reason I got into air guns.

Funny.. i got all land guns what not, but unlimited free pellets so when is that going to "fall in place" ? Many years its yet to happen

Well, assuming you have the disposable income for a compressor and you have invested in land to shoot.... one would assume you could buy pellets. But hey, I'm not pissing on your choice. You do you.

Material things are not what I consider desirable. You can just buy it. No matter what it is. The most desirable things in the airgun world for me are things you have to strive or work for. Yes money is still involved. I desire guns that can be grabbed at any time and always shoot the way they shot when you put them away happy. In one word, consistency. Good consistency is what I desire even with my cheapest gun.

I do not know anybody who invest in land for airgun shooting. Some of us live where it is possible to shoot.

If I had the money
I'd buy some land and build a club/store/competition area. Bc there isn't one anywhere close

That is correct... investing in land 'to shoot' was in error on my part. I just meant if you have invested in land, period....
either way, it's all 'what if' talk and I took it a bit literal. It's a Monday!

Ones i dont get are the ones who got to hide in there basement. even if they seem to have s good yard if nothing else but afraid to shoot on there own property. Blue state i guess?
