What an interesting thread. I’m saving up money for land right now and the deciding factor is that it has to have 200 yards of safe level shooting range lol.
I have a range that lets me reach out to 150 yards now, but I have to stack bags in the steepest way to make it work because my range is all uphill, and it’s not my land, , renting.
No complaints though I feel very fortunate to have this.
Once I get my own land the first priority is shooting range, followed by permaculture and total retirement lol!
Edit: The bird feeder that’s crooked is the work of a bear, I actually built it perfectly straight lol!
