MOTORHEADS AG Tuning ... is shut down until further notice being @ April 2024

Hope you have a successful surgery. If you have access to a real Chinese Traditional Medicine doctor, I would highly recommend taking couple acupuncture sessions.
I had a lung surgery back in 2018, they cut through at the back under right shoulder blade... my chest muscles was numb for almost a year, but I visited the acupuncture for six months until built back the nerves...
I had to gave up a decade long archery competition because of that surgery...this a reason I am in airguns now.

I responded earlier to Scott BY PM, but I want to offer a comment to anyone who might someday find themself in a similar situation. I've had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders. The most recent, the doc recommended a total replacement only, no option for a repair. I'm in NC, and I then went to the head of shoulder surgery at Duke. After reviewing an MRI report, he confirmed that I had a full thickness tear, but without significant arthritis or other muscle damage, he said he thought he could repair it without a replacement. So we did, and I'm now playing tennis pain free. So my point, get a second opinion!
Doctors are similar to mechanics, engineers or any specialist. They decide on an element of their specialty that they like, and at which they excel, so that's what they want to do. It might fix your problem, but it might not be the best fix.

Shoulder Surgery in a few weeks ( Rotator cuff ) and my right side too being RH dominate ... This is going to keep me out of the shop for likely many months 🤒
As well may be absent on the AG forums for a spell of time.
* So if you reach out to me & get no responses ... this is the why for.

Wishing you a speedy recovery from your surgery... be well Scott.

Scott, this is what I do for a living!
Ice is your friend - no heat!
Rest and ice until PT is ordered.
Easier to heal right once than trying to heal again after screwing up the surgery.
Ice is your friend!!!

Sorry to hear it I went thru it last year. May I suggest you begin practicing wipeing yourself with the other hand and just for fun try putting on your socks with one hand. Good luck Sir!

Had labrum surgery in high school after multiple dislocations. Put 3 anchors in to hold it together. Recovery drove me nuts as I was 17 and very active. I didn't listen to Dr's much on wearing the sling after. Did PT though. Did extra too on the dairy lol. Was younger and dumber then. Definitely listen to what they say. Best of luck and prayers for no hiccups on the surgery and recovery!

Good luck to you Scott . Heal quickly.

Hopefully it’ll be done laparoscopically. Had a torn rotator cuff but was lucky to draw the shoulder Doc the SD Chargers used. He had me in PT the day after surgery. Also had me using a CPM machine to keep the shoulder in motion while I watched TV and read. Argh! Both were challenging 😥 But..back shooting archery in -10 weeks, though..so the his practice of keeping the shoulder moving to reduce scarring and increase circulation seemed to work.

Good luck. You’ll be glad you got it done.
