Ok, this morning shooting the 30yd challenge target at 25 yards I was beat like a rented mule. Yes, by my wife who has only been shooting for less than 2 months. I threw my target in the trash. Here is the wife's target shot with HER Diana 75. It use to be mine, lol. Pretty nice target.

The only rifles she would shoot was an AR or my Diana 54 but she could not cock the 54. I talked her into taking ONE shot with a 75. She shot, looked up at me with a smile and said, No recoil, I like this. You just never know.

Nice shooting. You won the lottery.
Tried to get the main squeeze familiar with shooting a few years back. Had a range set in basement. She missed everything and put 4 rounds through the wall.
That was two times for her, first time and last time. I confiscated her guns. Never asked to shoot again. Zero interest just like her accuracy. Crow

Do have to keep buying new air rifles and PB's in an ongoing attempt to tempt her into it? I do, but she's beginning to question my motives.

You are totally correct. When the boss lady gets involved the cost more than doubles for sure. Then you start hearing things like "Pretty guns shoot better" or "Did I beat you again" "Why are you practicing, you can't beat me" just to name a few.
So what did I do? I started shooting springers for Ft, and pistol which she doesn't shoot. She does keep asking me to try pistol, but I keep saying no....We all know how that will turn out.......
But one thing she doesn't like doing is hunting so I still have that
