Some large sections of the BRP in NC are closed still from the hurricane. Hopefully the storm damage will be repaired this year.

I'm in Augusta right now to visit and scout for a week, the chance to just ride in different direction has me very excited, in Hawaii was really one road around the island and that was it, same road over and over again.
Haha, like stated earlier in this thread, go to Tail of the Dragon, or Hwy 129 near Robbinsville, NC. Starts near Robbinsville, and ends 11 miles later in Tennessee. 318 curves in 11 miles. When you ride it, it's almost comical how curvy it is. Lots of if other great roads (Hwy 28, Cherohala Skyway) in that area too, but it's probably 100 miles from Augusta. Definitely, go up to the mountains and spend some money, the Asheville/Lake Lure area and many thousands of square miles all around were absolutely devastated.
I have an Honda CRF300L with a ton of mods, upgraded suspensions, 550 performance power upgrade, rally tower and everything else from wide footpegs to crushbars, heavy duty skid plate and more then I can mention, tires are Dunlop D606 for the rear and Pirelli MT21 on the front both DOT but barely being 90% off-road and 10% road that's why most of my travels will be off-road or country roads.
