I’m moving to Flomaton AL beginning of Feb and am going to be purchasing an FX Panthera 700 … torn between 22 and 25 cal. Does anyone know where the closest PRS style shooting club is located ? I am a total newby to PCP type air guns . So I will definitely be asking the Forum members a lot of questions in the future. Thanks. Gary

Congrat's on the move ! Welcome to the best AGN . .22 or .25 ? depends what your doing. .22 is a flatter trajectory , .25 is loopy , .22 in a heavy pellet kills a coon just as dead .

Myself I’d go with .25 caliber. Puts out more FPE which will allow you to get a heavier slug up to speed. Heavier slugs have better bc and drift less in wind.

Though I don't see a air gun category, then who knows what's in a fad ?

If you watch the RMAC footage they call it the Precision Marksman event., which is PRS style shooting. Im moving from TX, where I mainly hunt coyotes and we go to SD Annually to hunt Prairie dogs. I have been a powder burner, reloaded for a long time. I know AL has a 30 cal minimum to hunt Groundhogs. Im leaning towards the 22 Panthera with the heavier slugs. I also want to snipe some Iguanas down in FL as well
