This Krait is .177 and was just detuned to shoot the 10.3g pellets at 820 FPS. It's silly quiet, and the unique "report" makes me smile & giggle (I'll try to capture some audio for you).

Love the looks of those guns. I almost bought one of them recently during utahs sale. You detune yours with the HS or turn the reg down. Was curious how hard it was to get to the reg to adjust. These externally adjustable regs have us spoiled. The regulator krait looks amazing to. But that wood makes the lite special 🤘💪

Holy smokes, I just ran it over the ProChrono and I got 115 shots (not including several dry fires I did on empty mags)! It looks like the reg is set at about 80 bar.

At only 29'' (with the buttpad extended & the DFL Fat Boy moderator) I'm really happy with these results. Not to mention the trigger is considerably better than most bullpups.

I had Utah Airguns tune it for me. I'm not a fan of adjusting internal regulators. Looks like mine is set to about 75-80 bar. Maybe someone else that owns a .17 Krait Lite will chime in with their reg is set.

Don't know about the Krait if it is similar to the Katran SC, but I found a lot of efficiency in reducing the size of the transfer port with a sleeve and increasing the preset on the valve return spring (fully tight). Shot count went thru the roof.
I also had to increase the reg on mine as it was clear down at 70 bar from the factory and I increased it to 82 bar.

The Airmaks are great little guns very well made with fantastic CZ barrels

I will say a Krait compact is on my wish list as well.

Love my Katran.

How’s the cocking on it? I was shooting my RTI P1 today. The cocking on it sure leaves alot to desired. I hear Airmaks are pretty nice guns and always improving.

Thanks

How old is your katran? I found a great deal on a used compact. It’s an older version(uses degass tool) so I was a little nervous. Heard all those reg and magazine issues early on. Seems they got it all sorted out in the last year.

Thanks
Rob
