I have the PP 700, and I was certain the air gauge needle was stuck...just my luck I thought, then I took it out to shoot it to empty so I could put in a new gauge.
I thought the max fps on this pistol was like 550 fps, so I turned the port screw way up for best power. After I put my new Combro on the muzzle I was dumbfounded to find the .22 caliber was lobbing the 16gr pellets at 670 fps, and I believe that screw still had a turn or two left!
I had to stop shooting after 50+ shots because it was too dark. I was still just "in the Green" on my air gauge, which turned out to be working just fine thank you!!! Today, I watched the above video and much confusion about my PP 700 was swept away! Now I know it's performance was not my imagination!
I said it before...this $199 Chinese pistol is shooting WAY out of it's league. The P800 looks to be a clone of the PP 700 in mechanics, accuracy, and shot count.
Since the 750 is behind schedule, I might order an 800 from Wes and dress it up a bit with grips, DonnyFL adapter, and perhaps a decent optic. I don't need multi-shot, in fact I prefer single shot, since insane accuracy is my personal burden I choose to carry! Now that I can afford a pcp pistol that really can outshoot me, I've got to do what needs to be done.
