MTC SWAT 12x50 prismatic kind of interesting

I fancied a go with a prismatic scope. So,I ended up taking a blind gamble on,the SWAT prismatic 12x50 after reading all I could get my hands on. My experiences are overall, quite positive once I found the rifle it was meant to adorn.Initially,I had purchased the scope new at AOA in 2021.I had mounted it on a BRk rifle with a 23 inch barrel.I noticed rigjt away, how beneficial that FOV was for acquiring small ,moving targets like small rodents. It also became quickly apparent to me,that this would be a very short range optic primarily and almost exclusively under 50 yards, given the fixed 12x magnification.Anyhow, while I loved the fuction of the scope( minus the illuminated reticle, which is probably my only gripe.Poor design) it made an already lenghthy rifle, look twice as long due to its positioning far back on the rail.It just looked ridiculous on a very long semi pup. So,I ended up taking the zero eye relief scope off the long Brocock, and in a drawer she sat untouched for like 2 more years.I always knew I would be mounting her again when I found the right rifle.Well,I found the SWAT’s forever home here recently, and not only is it of phenomal clarity and compactness without breaking the bank,it looks right at home and right tidy riding the rails on the new Pathfinder xr od.I took the front picatinny rail that came on the rifle,Turned it afound and positioned it on the rear rail. Now,I have a very solid three screw mounting surface for the optics mounts.
