Muzzle Energy Calculators – the way they are supposed to be!
I use the muzzle energy calculator in ChairGun Mobile very frequently. However, it takes 4 taps just to get to the data entry screen, it's slow to start up, and ChairGun has been discontinued by Hawke.
So, I went looking for an improvement, or at least a replacement.
Very hard to find....
But in the end, I found Bullet Energy Calculator Pro – and it does more than I asked for!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.davideagnello.bulletenergycalculatorpro
• It’s free, no ads.
• It doesn’t ask for intrusive permissions. 4.5* reviews.
• Data entry is super convenient: You can enter any two of the three parameters and the app gives you instantly the third:
Kinetic Energy – Pellet Weight – Velocity
• You can conveniently choose the unit of measurement for each parameter, right on the page (and you can mix them, unlike ChairGun where it’s either metric or imperial). In settings you can change the default unit and the decimal point accuracy as well.
• It even allows you to copy the values and export or email them.
• You can have several calculators with results open on the same page.
• And add notes to each
This is an app very well thought out! Practical like most apps should be (and few are).
