This is my first foray into big-bore air rifles. Albeit on the bottom rung of that ladder anyway. That's what I always considered the .25 caliber's to be anyway. Just got it delivered a couple hours ago. My Crosman Benjamin NP XL 725 .25cal gas ram. It comes with a Centerpoint 3-9x40AO mildot scope on an electron beam welded Weaver/picaninny rail. The checkered pistol grip gives quite a solid feel on this hardwood, heavy rifle. With scope, it weighs 9.2bs. Nearly as much as my Winchester 1400cs and only about 2 inches shorter! I love how handsome the smooth, blued barrel shroud makes it look! And the golden-brown wood does look rather woodsy. 2-stage adjustable trigger too. Sling swivel mounts are included as well. I got It on amazon, from them as seller, for the cheapest price anywhere of $225.98 with Prime, free 2-day shipping. Supposed to fit my gun travel cases too, but we'll try that out later. I'm just perk as a ruttin' buck to finally get my first big-bore. A .357 is next...Here's some pics to drool over.

In the last pic, I placed all the powder burners on the right, air rifles on the left. You can see the Benji NP XL725 is only about 2" shorter than the Winchester 1400cs on it's left.
