Funny thing is: I've had (and still have) all the high end airgun stuff for years, but the most fun I have currently is with my $270 Umarex Notos... is there a lesson to be learned here, or what does it say about me?

To me it says that on "lazy days" you don't need to re-tune for weather conditions or walk out past 40 yds to mount targets, or use premium ammo when the supply gets low. Is this just me?

HECK NO!
Its sole purpose is to make it legal in some US states and other foreign countries that do not allow pistols with long barrels or non-thumbhole stocks. It does ZERO for stability.... Nothing!

700mm FX liner and it gets 1050 with CPHP's and 980 or so with JTS 18.1gr Dead Center pellets. 100 Yard ready as well. I have yet to push slugs through it but I think she should do well.
